I love life. I love beauty. I love love... That is the inspiration behind my images.
Who knew teaching Kindergarten would lead me to become a photographer?! During my second year of teaching in Cranbrook, BC, I met Micheline Ryckman, a student's mother and a well known, accomplished photographer - and I'm forever indebted to her. When she spotted my "unique eye" for photos and invited me to apprentice under her, I was honoured and made the most of my opportunity. In those years of training, I began my endless quest to learn the art of creating images that make people pause, feel and love. And I developed my own style, which infuses as much life and personality as possible into each photo.
Since then, much has happened: I've established my own photography business, married a fabulous man, Bruce, and have two lovely little kids named Keziah and Axel. Our delightful family (at least I think it is!) has moved to Lethbridge, Alberta, and from here, we are pursuing all of our passions, including the outdoors, travel (I enjoy destination weddings, hint hint), pouring into the families and community around us, and of course, my photos.
