Lara Merz is a professional photographer who resides in Abbotsford, BC, along with her husband Bruce. While serving clients from across the lower mainland, her passion for people and places also lures her around the world.
     The inspiration behind Lara’s photos are her zeal for life and her joy in expressing the emotion and beauty she sees everywhere, especially in people. Her photo-journalistic approach to catching the moment as it happens, mixed with an artistic perspective to portraiture results in photographs as unique, creative and beautiful as the people and places in them.
     When she is not doing photography, Lara and her husband are typically engrossed in different cultures, trekking in the woods, or pouring into young people and children.
